Skeleton Dragons got the biggest buff in the April 26, 2026 patch — splash radius increased from 0.8 to 1.5 tiles, an 88% increase. The hit-speed cooldown went from 1.9s to 2.0s (a 5% nerf to fire rate), but the splash buff dwarfs it. Expected usage spike from ~3% pre-patch to 15-25% post-patch.
Hero Magic Archer received the most damaging nerf in the April 26, 2026 patch. The ability cost doubled from 1 elixir to 2 elixir, and a separate bug fix removed Rune Giant's bonus damage on Magic Archer Triple Shot. Expect a 4-6 percentage point win-rate drop on Hero Magic Archer decks. Wall Breakers Evolution -26% area damage and Royal Ghost Evolution -60% Souldier damage are the next-largest hits.
Miner Wall Breakers dropped from a top-3 ladder deck at 5000-7000 trophies to a B-tier option after the April 26, 2026 patch. The 26% area damage cut on Wall Breakers Evolution broke the swarm-clear-on-death tempo cycle that defined the archetype. The deck is still playable as a Miner-only chip variant without the Evolution slot, but the Evolution version has lost its identity.
Prioritize Knight Evolution (still S-tier), Skeletons Evolution, or Valkyrie Evolution after the April 26, 2026 patch. Skip Royal Ghost Evolution and Wall Breakers Evolution until at least the next balance patch in case they receive compensation buffs. Skeleton Barrel Evolution dropped 13% but remains playable in Goblin Drill and 2.7 Hog variants.
