Ore planner questions

What is the Clash of Clans Hero Equipment & Ore Planner?

The Hero Equipment & Ore Planner reads your hero equipment levels, Town Hall and league from the official Clash of Clans API, then lets you enter your Shiny, Glowy, and Starry Ore to compute what every piece costs to reach the Blacksmith cap your Town Hall allows, grouped by all 6 heroes, plus what you can afford now, the gem price of the gap, and how many days your ore income takes to cover it.

Does the Clash of Clans API show my Ore balances?

No. The official Supercell API exposes hero equipment levels and max levels but not Ore balances, so Shiny, Glowy, and Starry amounts are player-entered. Everything derived from your equipment levels is live API data; everything derived from ore is based on your entered numbers.

Where do I see my Ore in Clash of Clans?

Open your Blacksmith in the game: your Shiny, Glowy and Starry Ore balances show at the bottom of its screen, each beside its storage cap. Copy those 3 numbers into the planner’s ore fields, because the official API does not expose them.

How much ore does it cost to max a piece of hero equipment?

A Common piece costs 27,260 Shiny Ore and 1,920 Glowy Ore from level 1 to 18; an Epic piece costs 56,060 Shiny, 3,720 Glowy and 480 Starry Ore from level 1 to 27. Every piece of the same rarity costs the same per level (Clash of Clans wiki, checked October 2026), and the planner stops at the level your Town Hall's Blacksmith allows.

How many gems does it cost to max Epic equipment?

Buying every ore for an Epic piece from level 1 to 27 costs 91,460 gems at the old prices (1 / 5 / 35 gems per Shiny / Glowy / Starry) and 48,790 gems at the new prices Supercell announced on 2 October 2026 (0.5 / 3 / 20). The cut is live at the Trader now and reaches the Blacksmith with the next full update; the planner shows both.

How does the days-to-goal forecast work?

The forecast earns one Star Bonus a day at your current league and Town Hall, the Trader's 10 free Glowy a week, and any won clan wars you add. At Town Hall 18 a Star Bonus pays from 1,195 Shiny, 69 Glowy and 1 Starry in Titan League 26 (the Town Hall 18 league floor) up to 1,250 / 72 / 2 in Legend League (1,080 / 63 / 1 while Unranked); lower Town Halls earn less Shiny and Glowy, down to 395 / 25 / 1 for a Town Hall 8 in Skeleton League 2. Each ore type gets its own day count and the goal takes the slowest, because Shiny, Glowy, and Starry never substitute for one another.

Is the Ore Planner free?

Yes — the Clash of Clans Hero Equipment & Ore Planner is free with no account. Enter any public player tag to read that account’s equipment.

Equipment levels, Town Hall and league are live Supercell API data. Ore balances and wars a week are player-entered — the API does not expose them. Ore costs per level, the equipment-to-hero map, and Star Bonus, Clan War and Trader ore come from the Clash of Clans wiki; gem prices from Supercell's 2 Oct 2026 post.
