Why does war coaching say our war log is private?
The official API only shares regular war data for clans whose war log is set public. A leader or co-leader can change it in Clan Settings → War Log → Public — the read works immediately after. Clan War League wars are the exception: they read even with a private war log.
What does the free war read include?
The live scoreboard (stars, destruction, attacks used of total), your recent war record, and the single most actionable insight. A free account unlocks the full per-member table: attack usage, stars and best hit this war, and who is sitting on unused attacks. For Town-Hall-matched targets for the attacks still left, open the War Room.
Does this work during Clan War Leagues?
Yes. During Clan War League the read switches to your league war: the battle-day war (war 1 to 7 of the league), counted at one attack per member, plus the next war while it is on preparation day. League wars read even when the clan’s war log is private. The recent war record counts regular wars only, because the war log stores each CWL season as one entry with no win/loss result.
Can I check any clan, not just my own?
Yes — any clan tag works for Clan War League wars, and any clan with a public war log works for regular wars. War data comes from the official Supercell API.
