- Where does the matchup data come from?
- Every result comes from our archetype matchup table, built from collected ladder battles at each trophy range: the same matchup data Deck Doctor, the deck chat and Video Coach use. Your deck is placed in its archetype, and each row is that archetype against another one, summed across the trophy ranges you pick (all ranges when you pick none).
- How do I use the Deck Matchup Simulator?
- Enter all 8 cards and pick a trophy range. The simulator places your deck in its archetype and lists the opponent archetypes it meets, with wins, losses, draws and the battle count for each; a win rate appears for an archetype once it has 300 battles behind it.
- Can I check matchups for any deck?
- Yes, as long as it fits an archetype we track. Enter any 8 Clash Royale cards, heroes included; results are for the deck's archetype, so two decks in the same archetype share their matchups. No login required.
- What does a matchup percentage mean?
- The win rate is your archetype's share of wins against that archetype, with a draw counted as half a win, and it only appears once at least 300 battles back it. 53% or better is favorable, 47% or worse is unfavorable (a counter), and anything in between is roughly even. Rows under 300 battles show the record without a rate.
