Topple the Tower in Brawl Stars: Rules, Best Brawler Order & the Unbeatable Title (2026)

Quick answer: Topple the Tower is a 5-floor PvE tower climb in Brawl Stars where you select 1 Brawler per floor from a curated pool of 5–12 — winning a floor locks that Brawler to it, and losing removes the Brawler from your pool entirely. Entry requires 8 unlocked Brawlers and 325 Trophies, all Brawlers play auto-maxed with Buffies included, one new tower opens daily, and clearing all 5 floors without a loss grants the exclusive "Unbeatable" title.

Topple the Tower shipped in the 29 June 2026 Ramen Rebellion update as 1 of 5 new modes, and it is the most strategic of the set: a 5-floor climb, 1 Brawler committed per floor, drawn from a curated pool of 5–12 Brawlers, with an entry gate of 8 unlocked Brawlers and at least 325 Trophies. Its defining rule cuts both ways — a win locks the Brawler to that floor for the rest of the event, and a loss removes the Brawler from your available pool — so a bad pick on floor 2 can cost you the run on floor 5. One new tower opens each day during the event, and a flawless 5-floor clear awards the exclusive "Unbeatable" player title.

How Does Topple the Tower Work?

Topple the Tower gives you a tower of 5 floors and a curated Brawler pool of 5–12. On each floor you commit exactly 1 Brawler. Win, and that Brawler is locked to the floor — done for the run, but the victory stands. Lose, and the Brawler is removed from your pool while the floor remains uncleared, so you must retry it with a different (and now smaller) roster.

Two equalizers keep the mode fair: all Brawlers are automatically maxed, Buffies included — your own Power levels and Gears do not apply — and the pool is curated per tower, so everyone drafting a given day's tower faces the same options. The skill expression is entirely in resource planning: which Brawler do you spend on which floor.

Team play is available for players on the same floor, and a new tower opens every day during the event window.

What Is the Best Brawler Order for Topple the Tower?

The best order spends your weakest usable picks early and protects your flexible picks for the top. The mode's difficulty rises floor by floor, and the locking rule means the strong all-rounder you burn on floor 1 is unavailable when floor 5 demands it.

FloorWhat to commitWhy
1Your worst-fit pool Brawler that can still winFloor 1 is the easiest; a marginal pick clearing it is pure profit
2A tanky or long-range Brawler you won't missPool loss risk is still low-stakes
3Your first genuinely comfortable pickMid-tower difficulty starts punishing filler
4A high-damage specialist suited to the floorHold your best generalist one more floor
5Your strongest surviving all-rounderThe hardest floor gets your safest Brawler

Three drafting rules from the mode's structure:

  • Save burst-damage and mobile Brawlers (Assassins, Damage Dealers) for the higher floors, where enemies are more aggressive.
  • Spend tanky or ranged Brawlers on floors 1–2, where losing them from the pool costs least.
  • In team play, coordinate picks before the run — redundant roles drain the shared pool's coverage faster than losses do.

What Happens When You Lose a Floor?

Losing a floor removes the Brawler you used from your available pool — the floor stays open, the Brawler does not come back. This is the rule that decides runs: with a 5-floor tower and a pool as small as 5, a single loss on a 5-Brawler pool leaves you with exactly 4 Brawlers for 4 remaining floors and zero margin.

The practical consequences:

  • Count your margin before you queue a floor. Pool size minus uncleared floors = the number of losses you can absorb. At margin 0, pick only sure things.
  • A retreat is not available — commitment is per-floor, so the decision point is the pick screen, not the match.
  • A loss with a "cheap" Brawler is fine; a loss with your floor-5 candidate is the run. The cost of losing is not the floor, it's the roster.

Is the Unbeatable Title Worth Chasing?

The Unbeatable title requires completing all 5 floors without a single loss, and it is the mode's only exclusive cosmetic reward. Because towers refresh daily, a failed title run today does not lock you out — tomorrow's tower is a fresh attempt with a fresh pool.

If you are chasing the title: play the day's tower only when the curated pool gives you at least 2 credible picks per floor archetype, and skip days where the pool is thin for your playstyle. A skipped tower costs nothing; a lost floor costs the title for that tower.

How Does Topple the Tower Compare to the Other PvE Modes?

The June 2026 update shipped 3 PvE modes, each pressuring a different skill:

ModeObjectivePressure sourceSkill it rewards
Topple the TowerClear 5 floors, 1 Brawler eachRoster attrition across floorsResource planning across a run
Mecha GuardEscort and charge, then bossEnemy volume plus objective stallPositioning around a moving point
Combat CookingComplete 3 orders before time expiresA hard clockRole split and routing efficiency

Topple the Tower and Mecha Guard are strategic cousins — both punish decisions made minutes earlier, Topple through its Brawler pool and Mecha Guard through accumulated power-ups. The full mechanics of all 5 new modes are in the June 2026 new modes and NanoPowers guide.

Does Topple the Tower Give NanoDrops or Smoothie Drops?

Topple the Tower is a confirmed source of Smoothie Drops during Windstock (Season 53, August 6 – September 3, 2026) — the currency that feeds Fusions, alongside Daily Wins, Mega Quests, Side Quests, and Creator QR codes. Each drop gives 3 picks from 5 cups at 0–3 Gulps per cup, so 1–9 total per drop. That makes the mode worth a daily clear during Windstock even when you are not chasing the title — and the August 4 NanoPower rebalance (9 nerfs, 14 buffs) decides which Fusion pairs those drops are worth spending on.

What Are the Most Common Topple the Tower Mistakes?

Mistake 1 — spending your best all-rounder on floor 1. The floor was clearable with a filler pick; now your safest Brawler is locked while floors 4–5 remain. The locking rule makes early overkill the mode's most expensive habit.

Mistake 2 — ignoring the pool count. Queueing floor 3 with a 6-Brawler pool and 3 uncleared floors means every loss from here ends the margin. Count before you pick.

Mistake 3 — drafting by comfort instead of floor fit. All Brawlers are auto-maxed, so "my Power 11 main" logic does not apply — the floor's enemy composition, not your investment, decides the right pick.

Mistake 4 — duplicate roles in team play. Two teammates both committing throwers leaves the shared pool without single-target damage exactly when the top floors demand it.

Mistake 5 — forcing a thin tower. Towers refresh daily. If today's curated pool covers your needs badly, the disciplined play — especially on a title run — is to wait for tomorrow's tower.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Topple the Tower in Brawl Stars?

Topple the Tower is a PvE mode from the 29 June 2026 update where players climb a 5-floor tower, committing 1 Brawler per floor from a curated pool of 5–12. Wins lock the Brawler to the floor; losses remove it from the pool.

What do you need to unlock Topple the Tower?

Topple the Tower requires 8 unlocked Brawlers and at least 325 Trophies. Inside the mode every Brawler plays auto-maxed with Buffies included, so Power levels beyond unlocking do not matter.

How do you get the Unbeatable title?

The Unbeatable title is earned by completing all 5 floors of a tower without a single loss. Towers refresh daily during the event, so each day offers a fresh attempt.

Do your own Brawler levels matter in Topple the Tower?

Brawler levels do not apply — all Brawlers are automatically maxed with Buffies included. Only your pick order and floor fit decide the run.

Can you play Topple the Tower with friends?

Team play is available for players on the same floor. Coordinate Brawler picks before the run, because teammates share the consequences of a shrinking pool fastest when they commit redundant roles.

Does Topple the Tower give rewards in Windstock?

Topple the Tower awards Smoothie Drops during Windstock (August 6 – September 3, 2026), each worth 1–9 Gulps toward Fusions, making a daily clear one of the season's reliable progression sources.

**Methodology:** All mode rules on this page — floor count, pool size, entry requirements, auto-max behavior, locking/removal rules, daily refresh, the Unbeatable title, and Smoothie Drop eligibility — come from Supercell's 29 June 2026 release notes and the published Season 52/53 schedules, as documented in TrophyCoach's June 2026 modes coverage. Draft-order recommendations are TrophyCoach editorial strategy derived from those rules; no per-Brawler win-rate claims are made because Supercell publishes no per-floor performance data.
